We would like to amend/cancel our booking dates, what is the resort’s cancellation policy?

Booking & Cancellation policy at Mantaray Island Resort:

All Direct Online Bookings are subject to a 25% non refundable deposit.

Any cancellations received between 31 days and 15 days of arrival will incur a 50% cancellation fee of the full accommodation.

All cancellations received within 14 days of arrival will incur a 100% cancellation fee of the full accommodation.

All no shows will be charged 100% cancellation fee of the full accommodation.

Cancellations after check in will be charged in full of all nights not utilised.


Do you accept credit cards on the Island or only accept cash?

At Mantaray Island Resort we accept Visa, Master and Amex cards, there is a 3.5% surcharge added for all payments made by credit cards.

We accept cash payments in FJD only.


What are the cost of the activities at Mantaray Island Resort?

There are a number of free activities at Mantaray Island Resort: basket weaving, coconut craft, kayaking and Island trekking. Paid activities start from FJD $45 per person and include swimming with manta rays, guided snorkeling, village visits, sunset tube cruise and hand line fishing. Trolling fishing trips cost FJD $80 per person and minimum of 4 people to book to go on a fishing trip.


What is the price for an Open Water Dive Course and how many days does it take to complete?

Open Water Dive Course is FJD $730 we normally do 2 dives a day for 3 days and complete 6 dives in total! We have over 40 different dive sites.


Does Mantaray Island do PADI Diving?

The course here at Mantaray Island Resort is an SSI (Scuba School International) dive course, which is nearly identical to the PADI one with the same safety standards however is cheaper than PADI and is an internationally recognised qualification and is interchangeable with any other agency.


Do you do specific dives each day for instance Open Water Dive on Monday only?

We do not have set days for specific dives, the dives we do each day depends on the courses guests book in for during their stay.


I didn’t bring my fins and snorkel, they just wouldn’t fit in my bag?

That’s ok, we have them for hire FJD $25 for your whole stay with us, just return them each afternoon, available from Mantaray Dive.

Is the meal package compulsory?

Yes, there is no other food outlets or villages on our island. Sorry bringing your own food isn’t an option. If you have a special dietary requirement or allergy we are more than happy to accommodate your needs please let us know when you make your booking.


I can’t drink milk, do you offer soya milk for breaky?

We certainly do!


I’m staying the Paradise Dorm and don’t have my own linen, do you provide it?

Absolutely, each dorm bed comes complete with two flat sheets, pillow, pillow case – serviced daily. Should you require a towel it can be hired for FJD $5 per day (up to a maximum charge of $15) from our reception with a security deposit FJD $15.


Do I need travel insurance?

We recommend travel insurance for all travellers, please keep in mind basic first aid is available on the island. In the unlikely event you become sick or injure yourself and evacuation is required the closest medical facilities are in Nadi which is at least 1 ½ hours away by boat.


Do you have Wifi, I just can’t live without being connected?

Don’t worry neither can we; the resort has Wifi available for purchase with a package to suit everybody’s needs. Just ask us when you check in.


I’d love to propose to my girlfriend during our stay on Mantaray Island, can your staff assist in my preparations to make the night special?
